Mental Health and Well-being

At St Michaels, we aim to promote positive mental health and wellbeing for all those in our school community; children, parents and carers and staff. We know that good mental health is just as important as good physical health and recognise that having a combination of the two, can have a positive impact on learning and academic achievement.

 

Miss Webb is the Senior Mental Health Lead (SMHL) at St Michaels and works to promote the importance of having good mental health. She works alongside the Inclusion Leader and Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) to identify needs and support children and their families. They also work closely with other agencies such as Mental Health Support Team (MHST), Educational Psychologists and CAHMS.
