The school uses it's suite of Chromebooks and G-suite for Education as its primary vehicle for delivering the computing curriculum, but also to deliver learning across the curriculum.
In order to access G-Suite, the school provides children with an account. Parental permission is required before these accounts can be activated. Children can use the accounts, and the associated apps, in and out of school. Further information regarding the accounts and the associated data can be found in the link to the notice at the bottom of this page.
As many of you will no doubt be aware, the application we use most frequently is Google Classroom.
Google Classroom is often used alongside other Google productivity applications, such as Google Docs or Google Slides. When accessing G-Suite out of school, with a variety of devices and operating systems, it can be difficult to pinpoint exactly what may be causing applications to not work as we would wish. What can help, particularly on Android or Apple devices is to have the apps installed on the device, even though they can be accessed via the web. Should your child forget their login details, please contact the school office.
