Genre Organisation

At St Michael's, we have ensured that the writing curriculum is developmental and that the children experience a range of fiction, non-fiction and poetry forms throughout the school. This is carefully sequenced in order that the children develop their writing skills at the right time. Through novel studies, the children have the opportunity to practice these skills and also through cross-curricular writing.
